He has got a unique kind of voice and his songs are mostly romantic and very popular among youth. Early Years Naren Limbu was born on February 18, 1982 in Terthum to Dal Narayan Limbu and Khin Maya Limbu. As his father was a British Army, he spent his childhood days in many places. He went to school in Hongkong and later when they settled in Dharan where he did his schooling. Naren Limbu had a potent liking towards music and singing since growing years but he never took formal music classes. He studied film making in Institute of Performing Films and Arts. Musical Career Naren Limbu's musical journey started when he met and teamed up with Sudip Gurung in Dharan. They named their band Aastha and recorded the very first song Dosh. They also named the album Aastha including super hit songs like Harpal and Ek Mauka. The song as well as the music video became hit and appreciated by listeners and audiences winning some awards. Few years later, Naren began to establish himself as a solo artist with the release of Aatma. Aatma, Eklai and Timi Aunu became hit number. He released his second album Artha which was also very popular. He is now a celebrated pop singer, music director and music video director. He has received many awards and has travelled around the globe for concerts.
