Albatross is one of the most popular bands in Neal which was formed in late 1990s. It began when couple of guys came together with their guitars and other musical instruments to transcend the sound of Nepali Alternative Music.

Albatross had been inactive for almost two years but when Shirish Dali, one of their older singer was back on a break from the United States, the swung into action and came out with an excellently composed musical album. Shirish could sing at incredibly high crescendos. And the band started playing covers for varied music styles. Hell's Kitchen was their next album that had excellent strings, accurate drumming, and high vocal notes. Albatross is also popular among anyone who likes Nepali Contemporary Music.
