Buddha Lama is a young rising star who rose to fame in 2017 after winning the inaugural season of Nepal Idol which earned him nationwide popularity. For winning the title, Buddha received 2 million cash prize, a car and a recording contract.

Early Years

Buddha Lama was born on August 5, 1997 in Pokhara where he did his school and higher education. He belongs to a low economic background family so his parents consider Nepal Idol as the god gifted platform for Buddha and his family. He was always interested in singing from an early age. He also joined dance academy and worked in Lok Dohori Sanjh for living and that helped him to be closer to music and to improve his vocal and singing.

Musical Career

Musical journey of Buddha Lama began as he auditioned for the first season of Nepal Idol. He performed 'Aakha Ko Nind Khosi Lane' by legendary Arun Thapa impressing all the three judges and the audience. People supported him throughout his Nepal Idol journey which led him to win the first ever Nepal Idol title. He released his first ever music video 'Timi Sath Bhaye Pachi' featuring famous actors Paul Shah and Aanchal Sharma in March, 2018. The song got over a million views on YouTube.
