Deepak Bajracharya is one of the famous singer and songwriter. He is the first one to introduce Latino music to Nepal.

Early Years

Born and brought up in Kathamandu, Deepak Bajracharya belongs to a sculptural family. He was a sculptor before he entered the music industry. His hard work towards the music made him one of the most successful artists of Nepal. He is a great fan of Gypsy King. He also plays guitar and his favorite is Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits.

Musical Career

Deepal Bajracharya's musical journey began with the release of the album 'Lituluns' with his former band in 2047. The first song he ever recorded was 'Chodi Gayo Priye'. He continued as a solo artist as the other members left the band. His first hit song was 'Oh Amira' dedicated to this wife Amira which got him huge fan following. The most proud moment for him was the time when his song was aired for the first time in Radio Nepal. He is also an active social worker. He has been working towards creating music with the ethnic Nepali instrument. This has made him the President of Ethnic Nepal (NGO) working in promoting the importance of ethnic Nepali music instruments. His recent release was "Man Magan" which has been viewed by over a million viewers on YouTube.
