Ashish Rana professionally known as Laure is a Nepali hip-hop/rap artist, songwriter, composer, music producer and actor. He was born on 25th of June, 1989 to Purna Bahadur Rana and Chitra Rana. He is a good looking 6 feet tall, most popular rapper of Nepal. His song writing contains of current political and social issues. Laure has got huge fan following all over the country.

Early Years

Since childhood, rap music has been Laure's passion. Since class 6 he started rhyming sentences when he played deusi/bhailo in his hometown Pokhara. He wanted to join British Army but did not get selected. Laure is the Nepali name of a soldier or an army thus his friends started to call him "Laure".

Musical Career

He initially gained recognition in 2013 from YouTube Rap Battle known as Raw Barz. Intent on pursuing a career as a rapper he started writing songs following the release of his debut song "Mero Solta". He made his debut in Nepali movie industry with movie named 'Tandav'. He is currently oone of the three judges of reality tv show "Himalayan Roadies" along with Actor Diya Maskey and Raymon Das Shrestha.
