Formed in 2010, Underside is a metal band with influences from retro rock to old school trash influences delivered in a modern way. Underside is considered one of the heaviest and most excellent Nepalese metal bands. Avishek KC is the front man of Underside along with Bikash Bhujel on guitars, Manil Shakya on bass, Bibek Tamang on drums and Bikrant Shrestha on guitars.

The band's debut album 'Welcome to the Underside' was released in January 2014 which received positive feedbacks from inside as well as outside the country. The album was accompanied by music video of the song 'Disconnect'.
